Most flies and trout lures should work. They run and fight. Northern Snakehead seem to only go after Streamer flies (they will occasionally take lures. They do not run, but stand and fight. You will find them in the bay to the right if you use a fly, or in the same area as Brook Trout if you use lures. Dace are found almost everywhere. They do not go after lures, but will take any sort of fly. Pale Chubs are pickier. You will find them in the bay at right. Chubs only go after flies. Both Dace and Pale Chubs are runners. Last is the Legendary Brook Trout. It will fight long and hard, but it does occasionally run, especially when close to shore. It will sometimes go after flies but I have found that it goes after either Trout Minnow 2 or Trout Diving Minnow 1. You will find it in the same area as you would catch a regular Brook Trout. To move on to the next location, you must catch four Pale Chubs. To catch the Legendary Brook Trout and get the corresponding award for it, you need to encounter it first. You do this by catching ten fish on your fly rod. To be able to catch it and get the award, you need to have caught over thirty fish (as well as being skilled enough to catch it.) The worse fishing games ever!!!It is a shame that Nintendo allows this game to be sold for their system. The product information given is absolutely untrue. Not realistic at all. No underwater views. No action when the fish is caught. A real waste of money!!! The sights and sounds are terrible. This Angler’s Dream is an Angler’s NIGHTMARE!!!

BAD BAD BAD!!!I bought this for my husband who loves fishing games and this one is eally bad. Graphics are poor no underwater view and the fish dont even realistcly pull thru the water on your line- I figured with all of the fishing games out there we would of had a more modern progressive game but this one is terrible dont waste your money there are better fishing games out there!
